ProForce Staff:

ProForce credits much of it's foundational understanding to Kevin's mentors Ted Lambrinides, Ron McKeefery, Jim Kielbaso, and Greg Moore. Our staff all have degrees in Exercise Science and takes a business-like approach to the management of our athletes, using ProForce’s comprehensive assessment process to drive programming.  Our staff are avid exercise and nutrition researchers, who applies the latest scientific findings to his sports and exercise training programs. 

ProForce features the best coaching staff in the country.  All trainers have a minimum of a 4-year degree and possess, or are in pursuit of, a certificate from the National Strength and Conditioning Association. The staff has decades of sports experience, both as players and coaches.

One thing you will find at ProForce is that there are no egos.  Our staff is dynamic, friendly, supportive, and most interested in you reaching your goals.

Kevin Hollabaugh, MHA, CSCS, USAW, FMSC

Owner/program Director


Coach Hollabaugh's coaching experience has taken him from the University of South Florida to sports performance facilities in Cincinnati, and Indianapolis before creating the ProForce program. Coach Hollabaugh also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Cincinnati where he teaches Methods in Applied Strength and Conditioning for the Athletic Training department. Kevin received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science and Master's degree in Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of Cincinnati. While studying for his Bachelor's he worked as a student athletic trainer for UC Football and played for the UC Club baseball team. Upon graduating with his Bachelor's from UC, Coach Hollabaugh received the following credentials:  Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW), and Functional Movement Screen Expert (FMSC). He also served as a Graduate Assistant at the University of South Florida where he worked with the football, baseball, men's & women's basketball, and women's volleyball teams.  Coach Hollabaugh has trained many individuals ranging from inspiring young athletes to future hall of fame professional athletes, with an engaging, scientific, technique-focused style. He has a background as a multiple sport athlete, and still has a passion for baseball and sand volleyball.  He currently resides in Cincinnati, OH with his wife Meghan, two sons Mason an Cooper, and dog Crosley.

Ben Yauss, CSCS


Currently the Director of Sports Performance for Saint Xavier High School in Cincinnati, Ohio where he oversees the health, wellness and performance development. He is also working in the professional and local club soccer community to enhance athletic performance and reduce injuries. 

Prior to joining St. Xavier, I worked for the LA Galaxy and Athletes Performance(EXOS). In those 8 years, I worked with NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, NFL Combine, NBA Pre Draft athletes as well as with the USMNT, USWNT, Chivas USA and the LA Galaxy. I was involved in the development of the College and High School Prep program and served as an Intern Coordinator. For the LA Galaxy, I was the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach overseeing the first team, USL team and Academy program.

Clay Mefford, CSCS


Northern Kentucky PERFORMANCE Manager (Covington)

Clay is a coach with an amazing passion for strength and conditioning/sport performance. He started as an intern for us and is now the Performance Manager for our Northern Kentucky location. He graduated from Northern Kentucky University (NKU) where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science. While at NKU he assisted with various sports in the weightroom. Clay played soccer in high school and has a passion for working with our soccer clientele as well as any sports.

David Ayscue joins the ProForce staff after interning for Miami University where he worked with multiple sports including Football  Basketball, Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, Baseball, Golf, Cross Country, and Track & Field. While at Miami University David received hi sBachelor's degree in Kinesiology. He also competed in rugby, crew, and the weightlifting club at Miami University.

Josh McDaniel, PES

Performance Specialist (Milford)

Josh McDaniel is a graduate of The Ohio State University where he majored in exercise science. He completed his internship with ProForce Sports Performance prior to becoming a performance specialist. He is a former CUP and collegiate soccer player with 18 years of playing experience. Josh is a Cincinnati, OH native where he graduated from Turpin High School. Josh recently became a certified Performance Enhancement Specialist through the National Academy of Sport Medicine and is also currently pursuing his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification.

Nathan Kidwell, CSCS

PERFORMANCE specialist - (Milford & Covington)  


Nathan joins the ProForce Performance staff after performing his internship with ProForce. He received his B.S. in Exercise Science from Northern Kentucky University. While at NKU he interned for the Head Strength and Conditioning department where he worked with the women’s soccer, volleyball, tennis, softball and track athletes as well as the men’s soccer, basketball, golf, tennis, and the baseball team. Nathan is also a former 3 sport athlete and has an undeniable passion for making athletes, and the general population the best versions of themselves!

Asif Shah, CSCS, USAW, ACE

PERFORMANCE specialist/Cincinnati Country Day Strength Coach   

Asif Shah is a former professional baseball player that developed an immediate interest in performance training upon the start of his first offseason in 2009. During his subsequent off-seasons, He became progressively interested in the details behind his strength and conditioning programming and began studying why and how certain methods were effective in comparison to others. After 7 seasons of minor league baseball, Asif made the full transition into the strength and conditioning field. He graduated from Southeast Missouri State in 2008 and has earned the following certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Level 1 Sports Performance Coach (USAW), Certified Speed and Agility Coach (CSAC), and ACE Certified Personal Trainer (CPT-ACE). Asif is currently the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach at Cincinnati Country Day High School. He currently resides in Cincinnati with his wife Amber and their two dogs Axel and Rawlings.
