This program is designed to take advantage of the growth spurt and natural changes of an athlete’s body. We focus on change of direction, acceleration, and power training. We work on developing flexibility to combat physical growth issues, as well as enhancing speed, strength, power, agility & stamina.

Scientific research clearly tells us that young athletes can enhance physical performance and reduce injury risk when exposed to appropriate sports performance training. However it is imperative that this training stimulus is part of an appropriately structured training program, delivered by suitably qualified personnel (NSCA-CSCS, NASM-PES, CSCCa-SCCC).
High School and Youth athletes are a unique population, routinely exposed to sports-specific training (fundamental sport skills), extensive competitive schedules, and a growing number of young athletes specializing early at a time when they are experiencing a wide rage of physical, physiological and psychological changes as a result of growth and maturation. Inappropriate training prescription could actually reduce training adaptations or, in some cases, lead to injury or reductions in welfare and well-being. ProForce Sports Performance uses systems that allow for athletes to train the fundamental movements necessary to achieve physical literacy and excel at their sport. ProForce Sports Performance's innovative training system follows a Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) model and takes into account the chronological age of each athlete to assure that the most appropriate training stimulus is applied.
